The Thule 599XTR Big Mouth Upright Rooftop Bicycle Carrier sets the standard for bike carrying flexibility and ease of use. The 599XTR is an updated version of Thule's 599XT, but still requires the Xadapt2 to be used with an Aero bar. The easy-to-mount Thule Big Mouth Upright has a convenient, rack-level bike clamping feature, and worry-free, automatic self-adjusting jaws for perfect bike clamping every time. The Thule Big Mouth accommodates bike frames up to 3.125-inches in diameter, fits both Thule and Yakima load bars, and features a dual-locking design that simultaneously locks the bike to the carrier and the carrier to the rack. This bicycle carrier system is constructed with a black anodized aluminum wheel tray that is built to last, and can be customized with 790 Tray skins.
