Rating : - You Could Do Better.
My last bathroom scale lasted about two decades. It was white, bland looking and had a circular dial. It worked fine. My new wife said that this just wouldn't do. We had to have a new better-looking scale. We looked around and selected this Taylor model. Ours is identical to the illustration shown, except that it has a gray foot area rather than black. We've now had it for about two years.

We like the small size and thin profile as it is not nearly as domineering as some models in the bathroom. The scale seems reasonably accurate, as far as we can tell. It sometimes takes an annoying amount of time to come up with a weight. Multiple weighings within a short time generally come out within a half pound of one another. My old scale could differ by as much as three pounds. Sometimes the readings can be vastly off, say 90 pounds or something like that. When that happens, you just have to get off and weigh again. Seldom does it take more than two or three weighings to get things right. I find the LCD readout hard to read in all but the best light. It is gentle on battery life.

I've never been particularly impressed with the scale and now the name tag around the weight-view area has come loose. Evidently it was only stuck down with some ineffective glue and will have to be glued back again. All in all, I would tend to regard the scale as a somewhat effective piece of junk. If someone asked, my advice would be that you could probably do better.
